They Say
They say
"You are supposed
to act like all of us."
But I was always
turned off by this
routine expectation
Why should I be like
just anyone
When I can lift
my own creative
arms
And grope for systems
of emotion
That were only mine
And hidden from the species
Like the secret
message on decoder rings
And magic passwords
Buried deep within a wizard's
mystic things
