Boston Bound
After graduation from Columbia High School, in Richland, Washington
(see Thoughts on Richland), I took
the ninety dollars I received from various sources as gifts for the
occasion and bought a one-way ticket for Boston. I can distinctly
remember looking out of the plate glass window at the small airport
terminal in Richland and thinking about what my future would bring.
At the time I had visions of becoming a professional studio
musician, playing my bass trombone in steamy bars and in recording
studios.
