There are four things that impede creativity in life: competition, reward,
surveillance and evaluation. So I have spent a lifetime avoiding all of these
things, which has not endeared me to U.S. culture. These are things this
culture values highly. But I can't control any of this. So I persevere,
trying to survive in alien waters, trying to make sense of everything
that comes my way.
Me? If I had complete comtrol of my life, I'd spend all of my
time writing and performing my writing.
But, alas, I spend most of my time trying to tame Computers
(Currently at University of Minnesota ).
