In A Simple Word
In a simple word
Lies a trampled thought
That hatches when the shell
Is knocked about
and jostled
in a basket
of intensity
When released
It snakes
It's way
Along the brain
And meddles with
consistency
It sorts the cells
Knives the nerves
And weaves itself
Upon the gristle
Of adversity
