With quaking flames
	upon the breeze
		snuggling naked with the
			bark of aspen visions in the grove
Are sparkling rays of sunshine
	bleeding with the passion of an autumn
		war with the ways of time
Constant patterns 
	flail themselves
		in shifting rustles
			flirting in the fragile flakes
That cling
	to the life-line trunks
		shuddering in the spirit
Of a spellbound species
	captured in their path to 
		beauty
Locked
	in
		aspen roots
